Raised in the UK and performing across Europe before settling in Melbourne three years ago, @hedchef’s club-focused, off-kilter electro and techno cuts are regularly heard on many a dance floor.

Whilst behind the decks, his blend of locked breakbeat grooves, space-age synths and no-nonsense, low-end thump creates an unpredictable approach to club sonics, both across Australia and on his own monthly show on London’s Threads Radio.

For this DETECT, Hedchef dives headlong into moody EBM, chaotic noise, jagged bass-driven electro and flat-out techno slammers.
