DETECT - LEWIS G. BURTON

For the 50th instalment of the DETECT series, we are pleased to present a new layout and a spotlight on prominent DJ, performance artist, curator, and activist @lewis-g-burton.  Lewis has been at the forefront of London’s underground queer scene for nearly 10 years. They run the queer techno rave come art platform @inferno_london, a club night that champions trans+, non-binary and femme-identifying individuals. As an extension of the club night, they also curate an annual seminar The INFERNO SUMMIT and an accompanying zine. Lewis is a fervent advocate and activist working closely with London Trans+ Pride. They passionately build safe spaces for the queer community to express themselves, create, and thrive. Lewis recently released their first EP entitled ‘Pain Relief’ with lead track ‘Hermaphrodite’ a techno banger with an avant-garde grotesque retelling of the birth of Venus.  They present us with this exclusive mix.
